All aspects of the design are handled by the designer: Space planning, color scheme, specification of furnishings, accessories, and procurement of goods is $2400 per space..
Floor plan options, flooring selection, paint colors, surface finishes, lighting design, kitchen, bathroom, etc. starting at $3000.
~ The initial on-site visit typically takes 2 hours (for 1 or 2 rooms). To assess and produce design work for more comprehensive projects, a higher rate will be charged.
- A narrative and visual CONSULTATION SUMMARY is emailed to the client within a week.
~ Designing a full room or space can take anywhere from 10 to 20 hours, depending on the project; it is much more in-depth than a consultation.
Dimensional data is recorded and transcribed; the designer develops and illustrates a variety of code-compliant space plans using scaled 2D and 3D computer renderings which are presented to the client through detailed visual presentation.
CYGNET is responsible for all procurement services.
After the initial assessment, the designer uploads the data and begins exploring initial design concepts. 2-D and 3-D floor plans are drafted, and preliminary options for furnishings, color scheme, and any structural modifications (if applicable) are compiled.
The designer schedules the follow-up design appointment (1 hour minimum), and the client is walked through the first COMPREHENSIVE VISUAL PRESENTATION.
The designer reviews the visual presentation with the client (in-person or remotely), and the client's feedback is qualified and noted.
Limited revisions are accommodated; within 2-4 business days, a secondary follow-up design appointment is scheduled.
(Limit: 3 sessions)
Upon client-approval of proposed furnishings
A substantial amount of time is required for the designer to specify, source, present, order, and track all of the product required for the design.
THE DESIGNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: delivery coordination, tracking orders, any assembly or installation requirements, exchanges, broken merchandise, and dispute resolution with all vendors.
Semi-custom furnishings are VERY advantageous in home interiors and REALLY worth the investment. Because it takes extra time to select fabrics, finishes, trim, and configure the available options to enhance the comfort and look, an hourly charge is assessed for the time involved.

Multiple renderings are created to help you understand and sense how the design will transform the space.
Flooring, paint colors, color scheme, wallpaper, wall facade, decorative moulding, plumbing fixtures, lighting, cabinetry, counters, hardware, ADA-compliant components, stairs/stair components, interior and exterior doors.
* Drawings and specifications required for custom-build elements and features are not included in the regular design fee; the hourly fee of $90 will be billed for the time this work requires.
