what does CYGNET mean?

"The Ugly Duckling" by:  Hans Christian Andersen is the inspiration behind the name of my business.  

The take-away is in the metaphor ...  

-> When most people look at (fill in the blank), they will see the (blank), and nothing more.  

-> That is the equivalent of SEEING DUCKS, which, to me, is a painfully limited scope from which to creatively problem-solve.   (Probably accounts for the ducks being seen as UGLY). 

-> Many people make decisions without seeing all of the options because they're unable TO SEE them.      

-> When I look at the same (fill in the blank), not only do I see the (blank), but I begin thinking of all the ways it can be altered, broken-down, added-to, re-imagined, re-purposed, and utilized.  I am incapable of JUST seeing the (blank).  

-> That is the equivalent of SEEING SWANS, which, to me, is quite normal.  I see potential, purpose, and meaning in everything around us.
